http://www.bibleuniverse.com/view_statistics.asp (This is kind of a strange page!)

Found it! Doug Bachelor's page:
http://www.bibleuniverse.com/webelieve/about_us.asp

But nowhere does it mention any connection with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. What are they trying to hide?

An interesting phrase I found on the web site:
"We will never use manipulative techniques to get you to believe as we do."
So they do not say who they are and what church they represent. This is very deceptive. If this is the truth they would proudly proclaim truth about the church they represent. If there was a contact us link, I would contact them and ask them why they do not say they represent the SDA church.

They may not have said that they are SDA but the login page for the "university" has a clue for those of us who have "been there"

YEAH Jorgfe!!

That Statistics page is certainly spooky with a whiff of self agrandizement.

If i had been searching the web and come across this site i can imagine i could have fallen for their course if i were wishing to study prophecy online.

ALL the bait is there. Its EASY its FREE and it looks like they believe NOTHING UNTOWARD when you look at the WHO are we section.

Except for the small matter of actually NOT saying WHO they are just WHAT they stand for.

This is typical first level GROOMING as far as i am concerned. Especially the statements about no manipulation and realising that the body of Christ compromises of ALL denominations.

SDA'S DO NOT REALLY believe that!!!

There is another website I came across recently that is similar to this one:

http://www.bibleuniversity.com/

This one is billed as "Copyright 2006 by Amazing Facts, Inc". It DOES admit connection to the SDA church however, if you go to the 'about us' link, where it says, "Bible University was created by Amazing Facts to host the Internet Bible Schools it operated and to provide a structure to hold additional Bible Schools operated by other organizations within the Seventh Day Adventist Church."

Actually, Anotherseeker, I think you DID state the SDA position by saying "compromises."

This morning I watched the tail end of amazing facts so I could get their phone number to call. I called the number and asked the man who answered who/what church sponsored them. He sounded kind of surprised, then said amazing facts is affiliated with the Seventh day Adventist church. I told him I did not want any books and hung up.
No where on the program does it say this.
Just thought I would tell you, as If none of you know this information.
