I am always awed by what God arranges in my life. Today I went to my younger sister's house. I was to go with her and 2 of her grandchildren to a desert wetlands park here in Henderson. L looked at the ad and found it closed at 3 and at this time it was 2PM. When I had walked in I told her about a fair at the local park with games and free food for everyone. So we went there. It was sponsored by the local Baptist church. While there I got to talking to a lady from the Baptist church. I told her I become a Christian just 2 years ago and that the church I left had cult like beliefs, not saying which one it was. So she asked me and I told her "Seventh day Adventist". Immediately she told me that there was a lady she was just talking to whose husband is Seventh day Adventist. I told her, take me to her, I want to meet her. The other lady, who I will call C, was introduced to me and was told that I was a former SDA. That got the ball rolling. She told me she has investigated the SDA church and found its beliefs unbiblical and that she has the book Cultic Doctrine by Ratzlaff. I told her about this web site. I gave her my name and phone number so she could call me and I could tell her about the other web sites by former Adventists. This meeting was not an accident. I am convinced God arranged it to help this woman.
Just think, out of all the people at the park I happen to meet someone who knows this second lady is married to an SDA and was wanting to know how to help him.
I told her I would pray for him and her. Oh, there oldest daughter is at Thunderbird Academy. The Mom has told her about EGW and about the Bible and what it teaches. From what I understand the daughter is not SDA. The husband is not a practicing SDA and has not been for quite a while. His Mom is a hard line SDA.
So, I am asking all of you to pray for C, her daughter at Thunderbird Academy and her SDA husband. Our meeting was not an accident.
When I see how God arranges things, I think what an awesome God we have.

Praying now, Diana, and thanking God for arranging your meeting with her. You are right; it was not an accident.

I have more to add about this weekend. I was told that the church has a Bible study, from the Bible, every Sunday at 9:30 AM. This morning I went. Knowing me I got there early and got the last part of the pastor's sermon. The last part of the program was the pastor of the Spanish congregation who uses the church at 1PM on Sundays. After the service I went to talk to him and told him I was so glad to hear the gospel is being received by Spanish speaking peoples. I also told him that the Seventh day Adventists are making inroads with the spanish speaking. He agreed. I asked him if he knew what SDA believed and that they have cult like beliefs and he told me yes. When I walked out the door this morning I picked up the book about SDAs and EGW. It shows what EGW says about certain subjects then what the Bible says. I gave it to this minister.
The Bible study is strictly from the Bible. They are in Exodus 32 and I will be going each week. Then I will go to services at my church. It is so good to study with other Christians.
I am constantly amazed at how big God's family is. As an SDA I knew I could go anywhere in the world and find some one that I knew or who knew some one I knew. But God's family is bigger. They are so accepting and loving. WOW, God, You are AWESOME.
