I started this thread just to give some good news. On monday, 29 May, my wife gave birth to a little girl of 7 lbs. The girl is OK, my wife has some problems with her stomach, she had not sleep all the night after her birth. I hope to be all right soon. Perhaps I'll only read the threads on FAF for a time, I'm a little busy.

Here is my prayer:
Thank you God, for Your grace and Your blessings in my life. Thank you for Your care, and because Your eyes has rested on my wife and her baby. Please take care of them, protects them from evil of any kind, and make your presence visible in their lives. I asked You in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen

Jackob,
This is wonderful news. Karina is such a beautiful name. Your child will have the blessing of being raised in a grace filled home. When you are burdened down with your spiritual past, remember that now you can lead the next generation into the loving kindness of God's grace. Remember your kindness, patience and understanding can be Jesus reflected in you her Father. Continue to be a sincere, loving compassionate man for God and right, and your new daughter will see Jesus in you. Try not to harbor regrets from the past as they will only lessen this time of joy and commitment.

I will also be praying for your dear wife. She will need time to rest and recover. Please let this be a time to focus on the joys and future of your new daughter, but also a chance to reaffirm to your wife her importance to you, take care of her as Christ treats his bride. This can be a special time of bonding, and some additional spiritual bonds will be made also,

Peace and respect to all, in all,

Randy

Jacob,

CONGRATULATIONS for your new family addition, Karina. "Thank heaven for little girls, for without them what would little boys do." Her brother will be truly delighted.

Jackob, this is absolutely delightful news. Karina is such a lovely name. Please tell your wife that we are praying for her strength and recovery (if that seems to be a helpful thing to say).

I continue to pray for you and your wife, and I will be praying that your son and daughter will come to know Jesus as their Savior at an early age. God has blessed your family with you as their husband and father. He will show you how to love them for Him, and He will strengthen and protect your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

"I pray that out of his glorious riches he will strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, that Christ may dwell in your heart through faithÖthat you may know [Christs] love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the measure with all the fullness of God" (Ephesians 3:16-19).

Jackob,

How delightful! I wish I could send her a crocheted baby blanket like I do for family. Blessings and grace to you all; and healing for your sweet wife.

InSearchOf, I know what you mean. I have 2 girls (and one boy). One girl is 16... Wait 15 minutes and the mood changes (but they outgrow that).

Absolute, lovely delight, beauty, charm, love, kisses & hugs for Daddy, smarts, insights and high spirits are on your way from a daughter, Jackob. (I am under the impression that this is your first girl) She is so blessed to have you as a daddy or a daddy at all in today's world.

Enjoy!

Jackob,
As you know, this is not a dress rehearsal. Enjoy your children as they go through each developmental phase. They are so precious.
Tell you wife, We are praying that her health is completely restored.
Congratulations on your little Karina.
Raise up your children in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it. I forget the text for this one.

It's Proverbs 22:6, Diana:

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

I heard that one often growing up.

I have also a son who is three years old. He had not seen his sister. My wife is slightly better, but her girl situation is normal for this period.

I want to give thanks to all who have stopped to share some kind words. Thank you for all your prayers. God bless you abundantly and give you His peace and joy.

Jackob
