Some people put some mystical aspects in the fact of changing church to another..There are some people who might say that one church is more powerful than another ...I think this is the idea that makes it difficult for people to change church or religion at will, it is because they associate magical power to that dynamism in beliefs... and I think that adventism is the one that let no freedom or no choice for people to enter in that dynamism ..But normally, shouldn't people be able to switch church when they want without feeling guilty or worried, whatever the religion it might be ...?

There shouldn't be guilt or worry if you are in a Bible believing church that doesn't tie its own peculiar beliefs into salvation.

There are many churches that will use "God's will" or some other type of responsibility to make you feel guilty about changing or leaving. Some will make you feel guilty because you shouldn't be flaky, and maybe the fact that you want to leave shows you have a resistance to authority or responsibility, etc.

A healthy, Bible-believing church can believe that its doctrines are more accurate than other churches WITHOUT concluding that this makes them more saved, more holy, more Godly than other churches. Therefore they can still view others as part of God's family. A health church can be confident about their beliefs and proclaim them clearly without being arrogant about their place with God. But I think understanding grace as a gift is what allows this to happen. When a church knows in every fabric of its being, that salvation has nothing to do with how we are or what we do, it helps to put other churches, with different beliefs in perspective. That doesn't mean winking at false gospels and false prophets!

So true, Rick. Arrogance in a church seems often to accompany false doctrines and gospels and apostles/prophets.

Not shrinking from proclaiming Christ and submitting to the God revealed in the Bible is the necessary foundation for a healthy church.
