Hello everybody!

I was wondering if anybody here has read the book: "WHO Is The Adventist Jesus?"

I would like to know what you think about it, is it good or bad etc.

Jesus loves you!

Never heard of it, but I could swear Jesus was a Jew and not an Adventist.:-)

That's funny Violet - I once had a friend who awore that Jesus was a Catholic...

Mwh, I've never heard of it either. Who wrote it?

:-)

Yes, I've read it. Elmer Wiebe, the author, sent a copy of the first edition prior to some significant editing. It is one of the most comprehensive collections of statements by early Adventists stating their understandings of the three persons of the Trinity that I am aware of. It shows the clear anti-trinitarian bent of the founders, and it also shows a gradual progression toward mor orthodox views in some of them.

This book is a great resource, because it's full of quotations and their sources showing exactly what the various foundational Adventists believed about the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. These statements leave one quite clear that Adventism was formed in heretical notions about who God really was.

Here is Elmer's website: http://www.CULTureShockSolution.org
