I just got this booklet in the mail. It of course brought up all the old fear feelings, just looking at the cover! Inside it is very open about being SDA. It is by Universal Publishing Assn. Does anyone know anything about this? The index references are all SOP's with many Bible verses in there too. It goes into detail about the cleansing of the sanctuary, etc. I just want to know if it is from a normal SDA or a historical one. As I said, it is very unsettling until I remember that I don't have to believe this and be fearful, which is what they want!

Bb, I don't know about the book, the title does sound familiar, though.

This is the text that that helps me when that fear comes at me.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Bb,
It does not matter who it came from. Throw it away and thank God you do not have to believe that stuff any more.
God is so awesome.

Bb, I hope I get one! I'd like to take a red sharpie and make some "corrections" and send it back!

Leigh That is a beautiful verse. Romans is one of those books that just seems to have it all.

Love your name too, hehe!

Bb, it appears from a Google search that the "Universal Publishing Assn." is associated with the Shepherd's Rod/Branch Davidian SDAs.
