Thanks so much for the warm welcome to the forum, you have warmed my heart. I did not answer some of your questions because I am still trying to figure out how to respond, and also how to write to a forum, threads and stuff you know.
I am pretty busy but my heart really and truly does go out to the FA whom I feel are truly special people who have found the love of Christ and whom all, along with that, have swallowed the bitter pill of rejection.
I have many friends who are what you might call hard line Adventist and I must weigh every word I say. God loves them and I love them.
One of them said this to me ì I believe you are a true Christianî although he knows I attend church on Sunday and sometimes joke with him about eating ëpossum and sweet ëtaters when he is a little weak in the stomach. I tell him I will come down and ìFix him a bate of themî.
I was thinking of our spiritual Armour when I read this and even though I had read it many times it suddenly took on new meaning (Eph 6:15 KJV) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Preparation, training, groundwork, homework, grounding, research, it says in (Mat 12:20 KJV) A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
I donít know exactly what this means but nevertheless I want to be careful not to break the already bruised reed.
Joy to all.

River, thank you for your insights about our feet being shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

God is so faithful!

Colleen: I suppose my Adventist friends have always played me along a bit hoping I will ìSee the lightî at some time but that doesnít bother me.
The one thing that my closest Adventist friend lacks is assurance of his salvation and that surely must be a miserable existence. I am working on a way to witness to these folk, I cannot say whether another person is saved or not but I do fear for them. It would surly be a sad thing for any of us if we ended up finding out that the savior did not know us all along. He said ì(John 10:27 KJV) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
