Hi my Christian brothers and sisters,
You have seen me writing more on here because I have been home sick since last Saturday.
On Sat, Nov 18, I am flying to see my son and his family-ie, my lovely DIL and handsome grandson as well as my wonderful son. I spoke to him a week ago and we talked about churches. He has not found a church, yet, for himself and his wife, with a good program for children. So they go to the base church, which has nothing for children. He just hasn't found one where he is comfortable with the preaching and doctrine. In the USAF he is listed as SDA, but he does not practice it or go to the SDA church. So, please pray for him. I know I have asked this before, but I need to keep praying and I need all your prayers also.
His wife's family used to belong to the WWCoG. I am taking the video about the changes they have made to my son and DIL. My DIL is a wonderful girl and has been very supportive of me when I have needed prayer. While in Little Rock, I am planning to go to meet Dr Patti from CARM and her mother. The mother lives an hour away from my son and Dr Pattie will be visiting her while I am with my son. I am looking forward to seeing my family and meeting Dr Patti. I will log on to here to see what is going on and to stay informed. Thanks in advance for your prayers. And God, Thank you for this family I have here. Bless them this Thanksgiving season and may it be a thankful, Christ filled season.

Diana My son was in LR a few weeks ago and did
see the Clinton library. He thought it was well
done and actually did mention what-her-name.
But he had some time to kill too. No family there.Prayers for you and family! Peggy

Heretic,

Yes, now like Diana I am sitting here LOL!!!

Yes, that is what Rush Limbaugh coined as the name of the museum. He was going to use another term, but thought better of it!

Skip the Clinton Library and drive on over to Hot Springs to the Gator Farm. The grandson will like that a lot more!

MrsBrian,
That is what we did last time, skipped the library. And we are going to Hot Springs. That is where Dr Patti is going to be visiting her Mother. The Gator Farm sounds like a good plan. I will suggest it to my son and DIL.
I am looking forward to this trip.

I just have to share something with all of you about my visit with my son and his family.
I took care of my grandson, 3 1/2 years of age, Friday evening while my son and his wife went out on a date. He brushed his teeth, with a little fuss put on his pajamas and then I told him to pick up his toys. I had helped take them out, so I told him I would help pick them up. My grandson said no, to leave the toys there while he cried. Then he went into the room where I slept and closed the door. This room is next to his. I opened the door, which he was leaning against, and very sternly, in a quiet voice told him, ".......get out here right now and pick up these toys. I will help you, but you will have to help also". With tears in his eyes and a mournful voice this adorable grandson said, "Grandma, don't talk mean to me." I wanted to laugh and when his parents got home we all had a good laugh.
I had a lovely time in Little Rock. My son no longer considers himself SDA and my DIL is a Christian. They cannot find a church, but I know that God will provide.
It seems that once one leaves the SDA church it is difficult to find a church that meets a persons requirements. For myself, I did not know what to look for, so God pointed me to one that fills my needs.
Hope all of you had a lovely Thanksgiving.
Our God is awesome.
Diana
