For the ladies....Javagirl and I along with some friends from church and even some of my SDA friends are planning to attend a Women of Joy Conference in early April in Gatlinburg Tennessee. Go to www.mywomensevents.com and click on "special announcement" to get the information if you are interested. I know it is not close to many of you, but we are hoping some of our FAF friends in the Southeast will try to join us. My dearest friend and I attended this conference nearly 10 years ago and were very blessed. Stay in touch with me or Javagirl if you plan to aattend. We would love to hook up with you at the conference. Love and prayers to all my dear FAF friends.....btw, I am doing great and hoping to return to work in the next week or so. Thanks everyone for your kind words, and most of all your prayers. God indeed is Awesome, and I thank Him and praise Him for all He has done and continues to do in my life. I have come so far. The mass in my brain ruptured and I had bleeding in my brain. It was a large mass and I'm told it's a miraceld I survived. I have come so far, and as I mentioned, am restudning to work in a week of so. Susan, it will be wonderful to meet you! I actually have a friend from Ashville coming....she's a current SDA member at the church that Greg Taylor was at (I don't remember the name.) I am really hoping to get all our formers from the southeast to go! Sabra, Jeanette, and I know we have more from Tennessee and Alabama. Love you all, Carol | ||

Carol, Praise God for His holding you close during this time of crisis! I was not aware of your health problems, but I do believe you are a miracle of survival! I pray for your continued recovery. God is good! The church is Foster Memorial in Asheville. I have co-workers who go there, perhaps we have mutual friends. It would be nice to meet a lot of the formers here. ladies, i think we now have a room of four put together. Susan, can you come for the entire weekend, or were you planning to come just for a day? we can always rearrange rooms a bit as we get more ladies. i'm hoping to hear from Sabra, as i KNOW she is in the vicinity, and also Jeanette. it's a bit of a drive for Jeanette, but it would be great for her to be with us! also, i KNO"W we have some ladies in Alabama.....you CAN do it! love and prayers, Carol | ||

Carol, I could possibly come for the whole weekend, and was wondering about that since the program Saturday starts at 8:30 am. That would be a couple of hours drive for me to get there in time.
