Today I caught my 3 year old singing "I am a new creation. Jesus made me free."

It is hard to express the depth of what that little voice meant to me. I'm sure you all understand. Never will my little one be bound to the law. Praise God!!!!

Praise God and Hallelujah that your little one does not have to go through the throes of leaving adventism. You are blessed.

U2ówhat a wonderful thing! That will always be one of your landmark memories associated with that particular child. Praise God for confirming in such a profound way your decision to follow Him out of bondage.

"Praise God!!!!"

It is such a treasure to see little ones learning what it took me soooo long to learn.

I was asking my 5 year old today if Jesus would go away if he was mean to his brother or if he didn't obey me. It blessed me so much to hear his answer :-) He said no, Jesus would never leave him.

Well, I guess he isn't learning some things. I also asked him what the Sabbath was - and he didn't know. I asked him what the 10 commandments were - and he didn't know. In time, he'll learn those things, but I praise God he's getting the basics!

That brings to mind the Newsboys concert I went to last night and we sang "I am Free." Amen!

I love that song Madelia! You can listen to it at their website www.newsboys.com on their radio player too. Just fast forward to the song "I am Free". I think that song speaks volumes to former SDAs.

I've had the same feelings of joy and I thank God for leading me out to freedom in time to ensure my young children will learn about God's love for them vs. bondage to the law. I remember my desperation when I began doubting Adventism; I prayed hard that God would confirm things for me in a speedy manner as I was afraid of raising my children in error and having to undo a whole lot. When I first started letting the kids watch cartoons Saturday morning, my oldest (8) would all of the sudden remember about the Sabbath and would remind me that it was a "no, no." It took only a few more Saturday mornings and me explaining how we no longer believe in Sabbathkeeping as a rule, eventually he stopped worrying @ it and now enjoys cartoons guilt-free. Praise God for letting our kids be kids and enjoy their freedom now and forever.

"I am free" is a popular song at my church and we sing it frequently. I throw my arms in the air sing and make a joyful noise to the Lord. I AM FREE, I AM FREE, I AM FREE.
Thank you God, I am free. You are awesome.
