The first Wednesday night of May I wrote on here and told you of a young man I met last winter. On the Wednesday night mentioned I met him again, with his girl friend. They were in the Starting Point class. After the church service I go to Guest Central and talk to visitors to our church. Tonight as I was finishing up I saw Michael and Marie, the couple I saw on that above Wednesday evening. They waited until I finished. When I walked up to them they told me they had finished Starting Point and were baptized this past Wednesday evening. And I was in Arkansas. They also told me that their 11 year old son was baptized also. I threw my arms around them as tears filled my eyes. They wanted to share their good news with me. I hugged them and told them they are my adopted kids.
Marie has signed up to volunteer with the children and Michael has signed up to volunteer where ever he is needed.
My heart is still singing. And God let me have a small part in their lives.
Thank you God. You are SO AWESOME.
I had so share this will all of you.

That is wonderful news Diana. Thank-you for sharing.

Tonight, at the Saturday night service at the Baptist Church I attend, they were starting a series on Phillipians. This is a wonderful letter that Paul wrote.

I am asking for your prayers as one of the local retired Adventist Pastors and his wife were at the service tonight enjoying the music and the message. I have seen them there before and have shared with them the blessings I have received there. They concurred that they as well were blessed. I think the Saturday evening service is a wonderful option for those seeking spiritual enrichment and diversity. I have to say that it has to be the BEST vespers in town.

Randy,
That is such good news. And it is not the first time they have been there!! I will put them on my prayer list. It is so good to see God working on people and watching them respond.

Diana,

Thank you for sharing "the rest of the story." Truly, God has chosen you to be an ambassador for Christ. We need the experience and encouragement that our sharing about Jesus brings.

Sometimes our sharing can become a bit uncomfortable. For example, a father was teaching his son what a Christian should be like. When the lesson was over, the father got a stab he never forgot. The little boy asked, "Dad, have I ever met one of those Christians?"

Praise God Diana for your involvement in this couples life.

God moves and works in mysterious ways and when we see it, like you say, My eyes were filled with tears. It is a marvelous thing to see anyone come to Christ.

I can feel the joy in your post.

What is so amazing to me is that I do not think I did much for him and his girl friend. I just did what God led me to do and the results are His. Thank you God, You are awesome.

Dianna,
Thanks for allowing us to share your Joy.
Glad you are back home safe.
I have company and I am busier than a "one armed bandit". Ha!
