I don't remember if I shared this song here before, but I thought we can all agree and join in on this!

quote:

I Will Never Be (The Same Again)
by Geoffrey Bullock

I will never be the same again
I can never return
I've closed the door
I will walk the path
I will run the race
And I will never be the same again

Fall like fire
Soak like rain
Flow like mighty waters
Again and again
Sweep away the darkness
Burn away the chaff
And let a flame burn
To glorify Your name

There are higher heights
There are deeper seas
Whatever You need to do
Lord, do it in me
The glory of God fills my life
And I will never be the same again

Thanks, Ramone. That song is really special to Richard and me. The second Sunday we attended Trinity was the day we KNEW God was telling us we had found "home". We knew where we would be going to church.

It was an overwhelming service. Gary preached on Ephesians 2:1-5--we had been dead in sin, but God in His mercy brought us to life and seated us with Christ Jesus at the right hand of God. It seemed as though the entire passage and sermon was about God rescuing us personally from the spiritual death of our past and bringing us to Him. To top it all off, they sang that song, "Never be the Same Again", twice—once during the opening worship, and again after the sermon.

That song is like a life-marker to me. Thanks for sharing it!

Oh, Ramone, thank you for that song. I have never heard it, but I like the words. I will never be the same again, since Jesus took me and made me His. Oh, What an awesome God we have.

Ramone,

Thanks for sharing that wonderful song that has repeatedly meant so much to me (e.g., "I can never return; I've closed the door; the glory of God fills my life; And I will never be the same again"). This song ought to be the theme song of the Former Adventist Fellowship.

That's the real-deal "shut door" isn't it? :-)
