This coming weekend there is going to be a big SDA evangelistic effort at a weekend festival near me. The local SDA groups have rented a booth and will be disseminating literature to potentially thousands of people. Please join me in praying for Jesus Christ to be lifted up, regardless of what plans the enemy of our souls may have for this effort. Honestwitness | ||

HW, do they ever post numbers of 'success' from these events? What is their goal...and how do they measure it...if you know. | ||

Their goal is to bring people into "the truth." They believe they are obeying God by doing this, even if they don't harvest many new members. As far as I know they don't have huge numbers of converts resulting from these efforts. Honestwitness | ||

What approximate area is this going to be happening? (For example, the New York area, the Los Angeles area, etc.) Then we could pray that the Lord bind the powers of the enemy in that area. | ||

I will be praying as well. I am curious as to what kind of festival is on that they have a booth at. I know how you feel - I remember when the Revelation Speaks Peace seminar was in my city, I felt that I was carrying the weight of many people being exposed to error. A thought for you is to call as many Evangelical churches as you can and alert them to what is going on and ask them to pray. I did and I believe it helped. Blessed | ||

This will take place in a major midwestern city. The festival is an annual commemoration of the historic roots of a major trail to the western frontier back in pioneer days. Good idea, Blessed, about calling churches. There's not much time, but I'll do what I can. Honestwitness | ||

I'll be praying for the attendees and unknowing potential converts into Adventism.The SDA 'evangelism seminars' have but one motive, to convert people to Adventism.This leads people further away from the true message of the Gospel and Jesus Christ.Let us pray that no be decieved into SDA deception. | ||
