Author Message Flyinglady Registered user Username: Flyinglady Post Number: 4300 Registered: 3-2004 Posted on Thursday, September 13, 2007 - 12:10 pm:        I have mentioned on here that I have an eating disorder and that I belong to a 12 step group and to Celebrate Recovery, a Christ centered recovery group based on the 12 steps of AA. Well, I just want to share with you that after doing my 5th to 7th step-making amends to people and then asking God to take my character defects, I have had over 48 hours of freedom from the compulsion to eat sugar. I used to think the compulsion started on my tongue, because as soon as I tasted a sweet substance I would want to eat everything in sight. Well that has been removed from my tongue as well. I have had this since I was child. So, today I am praising God for taking my compulsion. He is so awesome.
