Diana, If you have the time I have a bit of a favor to ask. In Riverside, I have an older cousin, Donald Mote, who is a former Adventist who carried on the work of the Ballenger's and is responsible for our being aware of many of the fallacies in SDA theology. I haven't been in contact with him in a long time because he is in advanced stages of Alzheimer's, but his wife is also a joy to meet and can speak for him. His phone number and address are in the Riverside phone book. I to wish I could be there tonight, but I get off work at four o'clock and I don't think I could make it in time. Phil, I phoned your family and said HI for you and told them who I was and where I had met you. Colleen, Richard, Grace, Martin and all of you who were at the Bible study Friday night, it was great seeing all of you and having fellowship with you. I learned a lot about Jesus being our Good Shepherd and how He cares for us. Thanks Colleen. I will be back, some day. Now, I will be going to breakfast with my sister and her family and then will be driving back to Las Vegas. Love and pray for all of you, my Christian family. Just a quick note to say I left Riverside about 12 noon and was back in Henderson about 4 PM. Made good time without breaking the speed limit. Came close to it, but caught it before the police caught me. I am so glad that we do not make this journey alone and that we have each other to help hold us up. Thanks to each of you. Diana | ||
