Ask An Adventist - Adventism Question #13

Here is a question to ask your Adventist friends:
If Ellen G. White was such an inspired prophetess, why didn't God give her the revelation of the year 1844? Why would God give it to William Miller, a Baptist preacher, instead?

Why would ellen white only say that God worked through Wm. Miller when there were at least 18 others around the globe that predicted the second coming in either 1843 or 1844, using various means and not all shown to be connected to Miller?

Wouldn't the adventists say..there that proves something big happened in 1844..God awakened so many to that date...actually, I know they do because I have heard it many times.
