Tonight in our CR worship our pastor said something I want to share: "My head is like a bad neighborhood. Do not go into it alone". He was speaking of going back to the way we thought before recovery from our addictions. When I go there I only get in trouble. On the way home I got to thinking about how this applies to me and adventism. When I start thinking that maybe I am wrong and adventism is right and if I pursue that thought my head is like a bad neighborhood. Like my addiction, it is better for me that I ask God to go with me. Then I do not go into that neighborhood.
Just wanted to share this with all. Use it like you want.

Diana, I tremble when I recieve an answer to prayer. Yesterday, I regressed into some 'old thinking' and asked God why was I doing that. And, I was thinking on that thought as I opened your post this morning and read the message.

Thanks,

Phil

Phil,
Pastor Bob added after he said that. "I might get shot". We all laughed at that, but it is so true.

Diana--I have an SDA friend who has been sending me lots of news about the European countries trying to pass Sunday laws,
they haven't done it yet, and the Pope is unhappy--I told her I would watch the developments with interest and I was wondering
if many people who have left adventism would return. I'm sure she is hoping I will--I prayed too, and with all the deceit and
corruption in the SDA church I simply could not. God is my fortress and my strength. I'll trust him. Peggy

I put my trust in God also. He is the only way to go.

I needed to read this as well.

It never ceases to amaze me how God works!
