I just have to share an unusual phone call we received yesterday. A student phoned from Cincinnati Christian University and said he'd been reading the latest Proclamation in the periodical dept, and he just had to have a copy of it. He said he couldn't take the one he was reading home with him, and he really needed a copy. He further said he was writing a paper on God as spirit, and he needed that particular magazine. I asked him how he came to find Proclamation, and he didn't directly answer but said he had noticed it addressed Adventists...and said his wife used to be Adventist. Turns out they were both from Zimbabwe, and his wife now attends a Christian church, but he said she still has understandings that are different. I added his name to our list, directed him to the online archives, and told him I'd be glad to send him a copy of the last issue. Sometimes I am so surprised how people find Proclamation and how God directs them to it. I didn't even know Cincinnati Christian University was on the mailing list! There are so many people processing Adventism...and so many of them are not likely to be "found" easily. Praise God He knows them and how to help them find what they need!
