Cease, praying now for your mother, for Tiffany, and for you. I understand your grief.

I'm praying that Jesus will reveal Himself in a special, profound way to you.

Cease Striving,

Thank you for sharing your life with us.

I will hold up your mother in prayer. It sounds like a big burden on her heart that Jesus is willing to take off her shoulders.

We have a very well loved cat in our house that has escaped a couple of times. The scariest time for only 2 hours, but unnoticed, and at -20 below 0. The pads on her paws peeled a couple of days later. I will pray that your kitty makes it home safely and that God will comfort your worried heart.

Cease,
Am praying now for your mom to have peace in her heart/life.
Also praying for your cat's safe return. I have dogs myself and understand how our animal friends are so much a part of our lives, so I also pray for your peace of mind right now.

Blessings

Hi friends
I'd like to ask prayer for my kids, who are asking the right questions, and for the Lord to guide them in the paths he has prepared for them (Eph 2:10) Same for me, as I work in an environment that perplexes me at times--real pleasure when I think the Lord is able to use me, and real frustration in between times. I absolutely must know that I am where the Lord wants me (I don't ask to know the reason, just to know that it is his will)
otherwise I could not endure it.

Bob, what you say really rings a bell with me. You can be assured I will pray for you and for your children. God will let you know what He wants you to do. Ask Him to make it very clear so that there is no mistake.
I have to tell you what God has done for me. I wanted to retire, but I wanted to do this when God wanted me to. Well He let me know by giving me a thought. I told me, I do not know it that is you or my wishful thinking. So I prayed about it. I have to apply for my OT cerification every 3 years and I need 36 CEUs for the 3 years. Well I talked to God about recertifying and I told him that if I had 36 CEUs I would recertify. I went home and got out all my information. I had 65 CEUs for the 3 years. That was very clear to me. Now my state license has to be renewed every year. Oh, I am partially resigning on April 8 and I was anxious about the future. Found out yesterday that one of the women with whom I work is in the hospital with pneumonia and she smokes. She will be out of work for a while, so I will be working PRN until she comes back. That way I will choose what hours I want to work when asked. I know I will work enough to do the things I want. I do not know if God wants me to renew my state license or not but He will let me know in a definite, clear way what He wants me to do.
So ask Him to make whatever He wants you to do to make it very clear to you.
Sorry for the long response but I had to tell you what God is doing for me. He will do the same for you. OOH, He is so Awesome!!

I see so much closeness here, so much pain.
Prayers matter.
I don't know how to ask, nor how to explain.
I guess I don't need to explain.
My marriage needs help. Only God can speak to her heart. I am out of resources.
Coupled with this , I have health problems I am struggling with.
Ever feel like you can't get out of the way?
I guess mostly I need anchoring in these storms.
Just the ability to cope.

Jim;
Reading your post, my heart aches for you. I wish I had words that would comfort you. I only know that when the storms of life hammer at my spirit, I hold on tight to Jesus and let Him be my anchor.
I am praying, and will continue to pray for your health and your marriage. I also pray that He will surround you with His awesome love and bring peace to your heart.

Blessings,
Toria

Thank you to each of you for your prayers. I will be praying for each of you in all the decisions and trials we face.

I must say that the Lord gave me a heartwarming affirmation and opportunity to share yesterday. It had to be an answer to your prayers--a bit of encouragement from the Lord.

Thanks so much.

Jim--I'm praying for you now.

Jim, I will also be praying. Just as God brings our individual hearts to life by His Spirit, in the same way He brings His life into our marriages. I'm convinced that God is somehow in the marriage itself; you can ask Him to bless it with His Spirit and make it an honor to Him.

Bob, thank you for sharing your encouraging news!

Jim, I am holding you and your wife up to our Father. I can so identify with the getting out of the way part. I was just having that very thought last week about my son's relationship with Christ, and then to see him stand up and sing at church this last week, after I asked God to help me "back off" and let him do his thing, was just so amazing.

Thanks for sharing, gentlemen. We love you both dearly.

Lori;
I am happy to say that (coincidently??) after several days of pain and extreme fatigue, I woke up on tuesday morning feeling strong and almost pain free. I am still feeling much better than usual, and last night could go to my Bible study class. Needless to say, that did a lot for my mental health.
Thank you for your prayers.
A hugh (((HUG)) back at you.

Blessings,
Toria
