What will Adventists do at the end when Jesus comes back and they've spent a lifetime "perfecting their characters through Jesus' strength?"

There will only be two groups of people in the end - those who are IN CHRIST and those who are not...

" and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—" Philippians 3:9

When any self-righteous person sees the ultimate perfection of the Righteous One they will finally realize what sinful, depraved, damnable characters they are.

It would be like me spending my whole life proudly and meticulously building a one-of-a-kind automobile out of popsicle sticks and Elmer's glue when suddenly a Ferrari drives up...

Probably look like Johny Cash's Cadillac he carried out in his lunch pail one piece at a time. :-)

Yes! Great analogies. It's quite amazing, really...there are only two places to be: dead in sin or alive in Jesus. Only two.

Praise God that Jesus IS life!, and He gives it to us when we believe!
