I figured it out by clicking on "Moderators" and then from there the "Admin" link which takes you to Richard Tinker's profile. This is the address for that profile: http://rtinker.powweb.com/discus/cgi-bin/discus/board-profile.cgi?action=view_profile&profile=admin-MODERATOR
To see someone else's profile all you have to do is replace the part after "profile=" with the person's username. For example, my profile is at: http://rtinker.powweb.com/discus/cgi-bin/discus/board-profile.cgi?action=view_profile&profile=Jeremy
It seems like the profiles should be more accessible on here; I wonder if there is a way they could all be linked to.
I just put a picture of my dog Polly on my profile.  But I doubt if very many people have pictures on their profiles since it only accepts 50 x 50 pixels sized pictures--I had to make the picture real small.
Oh, now looking at the preview of my post, it looks like your profile picture shows up on all your posts!!

How cool! I guess you're the only one with a picture on it. I'll have to get my husband to help me. I tried to put a picture on it, but it was like ten times too big. I don't even know how to get it small enough to work. Cute dog by the way! |

Jeremy, I had to smile when I saw your post,

My guess is you have found a "back door" and we might not be supposed to look at profiles. I'm just wondering.

These pictures that are showing up are great. I've intended to post in this thread but haven't had the time. Since I want to see if the profile changes have taken effect and if my picture is displayed I'm posting this message. I uploaded an old picture from a conference I went to and I'll find the my "handsome picture" latter to replace this one.

Dd, I'm not Richard, but I assume the URL option automatically creates a hyperlink when you type a domain name. I'll give it a try:
www.formeradventist.com
www.sdaoutreach.org
www.ellenwhite.org
If this feature is what I think, clicking on any of those domain names above should take you to the website without having to do any cut and pasting in your browser address bar.

Evidently, this forum supports some simple format tags. I never really bother with it, but I guess it does help things look a bit nicer.

Didn't know where to post this......so chose this. We can revise it to read "Where is Sabra Now?"
Since we haven't heard from Sabra in some time, I checked on her late last week and all is well. Her computer at home has been down for some time now.
Thought you'd want to know.....I know many of us have been missing her on the forum!

I'm back!
The Dell has been revived from the dead, I think.
Now if I can get my scanner up and running I can post a pic! How fun!
We moved January 1st into a house, finally, stil haven't sold the one in Columbia but my tenant is great and God is so good to me.
My step son, who is 18, moved in with us. That is going well. My stepdaughter, who is 20, is coming to work with me at the office. I got promoted to office manager and a raise--hallelujia!
Church is awesome and I am so positive this is where God wants us, Chattanooga is just going great. The kids are doing well and things have been really hard and very stressful financially but we are seeing the light and knowing that God is working. Oh, the stories would amaze you.
My husband went back on the Lortab and Zanex. I give it to God, please pray when you think about it.
Everything else is great though and it's good to be back.
I got a new e-mail address too, it's
sabra68@peoplepc.com I'm trying to send a message to everyone on the address book but it hasn't worked so far.
Blessings and prayers, it will take me a month to catch up.

It is so awesome to see how God moves in our lives. He is so good and does for us what is needed and sometimes a little more. He is always on time.

Sabra, When I read where you wrote "the Dell has been revived" my first thought was "Oh, no! She actually is listening to Dell Delker?!" Then I remembered Dell is a brand of computer. Congrats of your promotion. It's great to hear your good news and to get an update. |
